Alliance opposes AB 52; will reduce HMO competition in CA

The Chamber Alliance is opposing AB 52 that would make it far harder for HMOs to raise rates in California. Nobody likes paying higher rates but health care costs continue to climb. If HMOs cannot adjust rates, consumers will be left with fewer choices.

Let's start seeing chamber of commerce's think beyond the quarterly profit...maybe think in terms of a few years ? Support AB 52 to keep health ins. companies from charging obscene rates and causing more people to do without healthcare. Persons without healthcare...bring us all down. Healthcare should not be a privilege retained only for the rich or the full time employed. Gad I wish Americans weren't so subject to 24/7 corporate propaganda . We used to have laws that kept them from taking over our country.
