Alliance opposed single payer bill moves to Senate floor

SB 810, the bill to set up a single payer health system in California, passed out of the CA Senate Appropriations Committee yesterday and is headed to the Senate floor. The Alliance opposes this bill because the state cannot afford to add new programs to its budget deficit and it would do further harm to our economy.
